Wählhebel Q-Tronic

    Hat schon mal jemand das langweilige (elfenbeinfarbige) Inlay auf dem Wählhebelknauf modifiziert oder ersetzt ?


    Gab es da mal was aus UK ?


    Eventuell folieren und mit einem Emblem verzieren ?

    ich hab meines passend mit der Mittelkonsole in Carbon foliert. Hat mich aber einige Zeit und viele Nerven gekostet wegen der Form.


    Hatte vorher eigentlich überlegt den Schaltknauf und die schwarze Abdeckung der Schaltkulisse zu tauschen weil beides schon etwas abgegriffen war bzw. sich der Softlack auf der Abdeckung gelöst hat aber bei den Preisen von 150 Pfund NUR für den Schaltknauf hab ich dann lieber 20€ in Folie investiert und ein wenig geübt. :wink:

    Zugegeben, es sind "nur" 144 Pfund.

    Zumindest wird es so beworben, ich konnte trotz mehrerer Recherchen auch keine Nachbauteile bezüglich Qtronic finden. Dafür ist die Qtronic wohl einfach zu selten. :/

    Hab' es einfach mal in Angriff genommen.


    Das Inlay im Knauf ist original gar nicht elfenbeinfarbig, sondern silberfarben. Aber Luigi's spezielle Bedampfung hat offensichtlich nicht lange gehalten.


    Mit 800 bis 2500 geschliffen, dann 3 x Mattschwarz und 4 x Klarlack und im Backofen bei 40° getrocknet.

    2mm Loch für das Emblem (Anstecknadel) gebohrt.


    Nach dem finalen Durchtrocknen der Farbe wird dann noch einmal leicht poliert.


    Auf den Foto's ist noch kein Teil fixiert, nur draufgelegt. Daher ist auch Staub etc. zu sehen. Das Emblem liegt dann auch versenkt.

    Das sieht ja richtig gut aus :like:


    Musst unbedingt nochmal ein Bild machen wenn das Emblem dann versenkt ist, ich bin mir sicher das kommt mega gut rüber. Und regt schon fast zur Nachahmung an. :joint:

    Mach' ich. Ist Dein Inlay noch silberfarben oder auch schon elfenbeinig ? :kopfkratz:

    Das Inlay sieht bei mir eigentlich noch sehr gut erhalten, Problem ist eher dass sich der silberne Rand langsam abzulösen begonnen hat.

    Puh, das kleinere Emblem vom Schlüssel kam eben mit der Post. Ist aber nicht so schön. Also das vom Pin (mein Favorit) muß da rein.


    Ist allerdings mit 15mm Durchmesser schon schwieriger. Das Material vom Inlay ist dann zu dünn zum Versenken... Also ein Loch 'bohren' :joint:


    Na gut, 2mm bis 4mm mit der Akkumaschine und dann mit einem 10mm mit der Hand... die letzten 5mm mit dem Dremel.

    Schön rund bleiben und das Emblem immer wieder einpassen.


    Mit 800er bis 2500 oder 3000 nass anschleifen und alles noch einmal lackieren. Klingt nach viel Arbeit, ist es im Grunde aber nicht.

    Das Material des Inlauy's ist dankbar.
